Background Story

In Space War I, the U.N. Spacy made extensive use of Glamor's ES-11D Cat's Eye reconnaissance spaceplane. The ES-11D was designed for operation both in an atmosphere and in space. The Cat's Eye Recon is a Space/Air AWAC (Airborne early warning and control) Jet designed to provide detailed sensor data for the UN Armed Forces with its advanced sensor radome positioned on top of the ES-11D which has a 1000 miles range. During the SDF-1 Macross's journey from Pluto back to Earth the ES-11D Cat's Eye was used as a forward sensor when the SDF-1's own Sensors were damaged. The ES-11D is not designed to enter into combat, and if it must enter an area where combat may occur it is usually assigned a Variable Fighter escort.

Background Story

The largest and arguably most devastating Zentradi mecha of Space War I, the Queadluun-Rau battle suits of the female division forces (Meltrandi) are fast, maneuverable and well-armed mecha. Like the Nousjadeul-Ger of the Zentradi male division forces, the Queadluun-Rau is a powered suit of armor featuring two reaction furnaces that power massive dual engines, propelling the suit at tremendous speeds. A special inertia vector control system gives the Queadluun-Rau unparalled maneuverability and allows efficient atmospheric flight using only vernier thrusters, effectively compensating for the suit's lack of aerodynamic lift. In battle, the female powered suit relies upon a deadly array of rapid-fire laser and particle cannons, but most lethal of all are the missile launchers. Armed with over a hundred individual short-range missiles, the Queadluun-Rau is capable of engaging dozens of targets, inflicting heavy damage with torrents of guided missile fire. Capable of deployment in any environment, the Queadluun-Rau could engage enemy forces in space, in the atmosphere or on the ground. Despite a lack of emphasis upon long-range weaponry, the Queadluun-Rau excelled at medium-to-close range combat and was one of the most versatile and successful Zentradi mecha.

Hi guys, I want to start wishing to all of you a happy new year, and a lot of success this 2012... the year of the Megaroad!! I'm sharing with you my latest model kit, the Miria's Q-Rau, made by Club-M, in 1/72 scale. Well proportioned, but no more details that the lineart show it. This kit is made of the typical resin used in Japan in the 80's, and gave me a huge problems with the paint fixing. Just at the end of the road, I found that a coat of wax for floor (apply it with brush) improves incredibly the adhesion of the paint. Bad thing not knew this before... I lost all 2011 with this /&%$%&/$/&%$ kit! Also, I need to improve my chipping techniques, but I think I'm getting it. I just need to think better in the locations of the chips... these ones are very illogical !! :( About the custom details, the thrusters are of aluminium (I bought them in Ebay), and the canopy can be opened thanks to some wires. Also I made again the antenna and the cannons of the arms, because the originals are very ugly. Another issue was the center of gravity, due its huge "backpack". I solve it turning the legs to the front, as you can see in the lateral view picture. To strong the stability, the legs are fixed, only the arms are movable. And at the end, one of my classic "group pictures", to figure out the size and scales of these mechas. Aside the Club-M Miria (in 1/72), you can see the Yamato's Miria, supposedly in 1/60... Anyway, none of these Miria's can fit in this Q-Rau!!

สวัสดีทุกคน ก่อนอื่นขอให้มีความสุขในปีใหม่นี้ ปี 2012 ปีของ Megaroad!! ขอเอาโมเดลตัวใหม่ล่าสุดที่พึ่งทำเสร็จ Miria's Q-Rau ของ Club-M ขนาด 1/72 สัดส่วนทำออกมาได้ดี แต่มีรายละเอียดแค่ที่เห็นใน lineart ตัวโมเดลทำมาจากเรซินทั่วๆไปที่ใช้ในประเทศญี่ปุ่นในยุค 80 และมันก็สร้างปัญหาให้อย่างมากกับการที่จะทำให้สียึดเกาะ ที่จริง มารู้ภายหลังว่าใช้น้ำยาเคลือบพื้น(ใช้แปรงทา)ช่วยเพิ่มแรงยึดเกาะของสีอย่างเหลือเชื่อ น่าเสียดายที่ไม่รู้วิธีนี้ก่อน เลยเสียเวลาของปี 2011 ไปกับไอ้/&%$%&/$/&%$หมด นอกจากนี้ก็ต้องปรับปรุงเทคนิคการทำสีถลอก แต่คิดว่าเริ่มใช้ได้แล้ว ที่สำคัญคือต้องหาตำแหน่งที่จะทำสีถลอกให้ดีกว่านี้ อันที่ทำนี้คิดว่าไม่ค่อยสมเหตุสมผลเท่าไหร่ :( แล้วเกี่ยวกับรายละเอียดที่เพิ่มเข้ามา ท่อขับเคลื่อนที่ทำจากอลูมิเนียม (ซื้อมาจากEbay) ส่วนห้องคนขับสามารถเปิดได้ ต้องขอบคุณเส้นลวด และส่วนเสาอากาศและปืนตรงส่วนแขนก็ทำขึ้นมาใหม่ เพราะของต้นแบบมันแย่มากเลย ปัญหาอีกอย่างคือจุดศูนย์ถ่วงเพราะว่าส่วนหลังมันใหญ่มาก เลยต้องแก้ด้วยการให้ขาไปด้านหน้าหน่อย สามารถเห็นได้จากรูปด้านข้าง และเพื่อเพิ่มความแข็งแรงเลยต้องยึดส่วนขาไว้ แค่ส่วนแขนที่สามารถขยับได้ สุดท้ายนี้ เป็นรูปถ่ายหมู่เพื่อเทียบขนาดของหุ่น Club-M Miria ที่มีขนาด 1/72 จะเห็น Yamato's Miria ที่ควรจะมีขนาด 1/60 แต่มันก็ไม่สามารถเข้าไปนั่งใน Q-Rau นี้ได้

Background Story

A deadly addition to the Zentradi Reguld mecha forces, the Tactical Scout is the reconnaissance variant of the standard Reguld battle pod. Removing all weaponry, the Tactical Scout is equipped with many additional sensor clusters and long-range detection equipment. Always found operating among other Reguld mecha, the Scout is capable of early warning enemy detection as well as ECM/ECCM roles (Electronic Countermeasures/Electronic Counter-Countermeasures). In Space War One, the Tactical Scout was utilized to devastating effect, often providing radar jamming, communication relay and superior tactical positioning for the many Zentradi mecha forces.

Hi guys, once finished the Q-Rau's nightmare, at least I had enough time to finish the Scout, Cap's version. Due I started it at the same time with Q-Rau, chipping techniques are the same (salt)

สวัสดีทุกท่าน เมื่อเสร็จสิ้นฝันร้ายกับ Q-Rau ก็เลยพอจะมีเวลามาจัดการกับ Scout ตัวนี้ เนื่องจากเริ่มทำในเวลาเดียวกับ Q-Rau เทคนิคการทำสีถลอกเลยเหมือนกัน (เกลือ)
