During the Principality of Zeon's invasion of Earth, one majer problem is ground combat performance of mobile suit. The YMS-09 Prototype Dom is able to overcome the speed problems that affected previous ground combat mobile suits by hovering over the ground instead of actually walking on it. By hovering, the Prototype Dom not only achieved incredible speed, but also unparalleled maneuverability, able to skate back and forth over the ground with ease. | ในช่วงการบุกโลกของทางฝั่ง Zeon ปัญหาอย่างหนึ่งที่เจอคือความสามารถในการรบภาคพื้นดินของหุ่นรบ เครื่อง YMS-09 Prototype Dom นั้นสามารถเอาชนะปัญหาเรื่องความเร็วที่หุ่นรุ่นอื่นๆเป็นได้ด้วยวิธีการลอยตัวอยู่เหนือพื้นแทนที่จะเป็นการเดินบนพื้นดินแทน และด้วยการลอยตัวนี้ เครื่อง Prototype Dom ไม่เพียงแค่มีความเร็วที่สูงแล้ว มันยังมีความคล่องตัวที่สูงมาก มันสามารถเคลื่อนที่ได้อย่างสะดวกเหนือพื้นดิน |

At first, I was intended to build it as Prototype Dom that have color and shape same as Gundam Fix so that when they stand together they will not look too different. And I have snake logo decal left from other so I use it on this one and name it "Viperidae" | ตัวนี้ตอนแรกตั้งใจทำเป็น Prototype Dom และให้มีสีและรูปร่างไปทางเดียวกับ Gundam Fix ที่มีเวลาวางคู่กันจะได้ไม่ต่างกันเกินไป และพอดีมี Decal รูปงูเหลืออยู่เลยลองเอามาติดดู ก็เลยตั้งชื่อมันว่า "Viperidae" หรือก็คืองูพิษ (vipers) |
